Fashion and media are trend-setting in body shapes as well as in clothing and make-up. The butt has become the focus of interest with the popularity of Latin culture coming from South America and the physics of the Kardashians. Buttock augmentation is one of the fastest-growing cosmetic procedures all over the world. Surgeons prefer to use a fat grafting instead of butt implants to avoid some difficult complications.

Fat grafting

With fat grafting, the surgeon removes the fat (which is not wanted) from areas such as the abdomen or thighs and injects buttocks. While shaping the area between the hipbone and the upper part of the lateral part of the hip, it gives the waist an ideally appearing hourglass figure and increases the fullness of the hip area. At the end of the healing process, you can get a great result with BBL.

The most important step is to find a plastic surgeon with significant experience performing the procedure. The doctor transfers the purified fat cells into the buttock-region, placing them carefully within each buttock cheek so that the final outcome looks smooth and natural.

During the first two weeks of recovery, patients begin to feel noticeably better. Inflammation will go down day by day over the next four weeks. Keeping direct pressure off buttocks will be still important through the end of the first 6 weeks following surgery. Fat cells that can survive this time period have likely developed a permanent blood supply. At six weeks, there will be still some inflammation. Over the next six months, the final results of your procedure will begin to emerge.

Smoking, diminishes circulation in the body and good circulation is crucial in order for newly transplanted fat cells to survive. The doctors recommend not to smoke.
